It’s been over a year since Skepta released his well-received debut album Konnichiwa in May of 2016. The London rapper has been slowly making a come back and ready to return to the spotlight that could likely see a follow-up project soon.
Skepta’s 2017 campaign kicked off with a video for his song “No Security” in February, but has since remained quiet aside from an occasional feature here and there. Last month Skepta returned with a self-produced follow-up single titled “Hypocrisy.”
Today, he’s back and teaming with director Matt Walker to bring his song to life through an official music video. The video features in front of a colorful backdrop and accepting an award on television before getting his dance on with background dancers. He later sets the stage on fire while sporting a sweater that reads “love” across the front.
