EXCLUSIVE: Why Snoop Dogg Still Owes Suge Knight his Life after Quiet 6ix9ine Story | Inspired by Wack 100

Snoop Dogg Still Owes Suge Knight His Life 1996 Murder Trial

RELATED: Are Rappers Afraid to Say Anything to Suge Knight for Having Open Communications with 6ix9ine?

We’ve been holding onto this story for years, but this week on Clubhouse, Wack 100 confirmed everything we were going to say.  During 1993, Snoop feared his life would be over, after he was arrested in connection to the death of a rival gang member.

The Dogg and his bodyguard were both charged with murder and were acquitted three years later through the help of criminal defense attorney, David Kenner and Johnnie Cochran.  Before having the funding to afford the biggest attorneys in the world, Suge had to kick ass around the offices of a legendary record label.

Wack 100 confirmed that the label was set to move on from Snoop, believing there was nothing they could do for him.  However, Suge Knight stuck by his day-1 friend that helped him build Death Row Records and was loyal to him.  Suge made the label pay multi-millions for Snoop’s trial, which lasted until February 1996.

Dr. Dre, who didn’t appear at the final verdict, was frowned upon by both Suge and 2pac Shakur who were there every day for their brother.  Now, for that alone with Suge getting the funds to pay for Snoop’s murder case he had nothing to do with, the Long Beach rapper is forever in debt to him.

While Snoop has been saying everything positive about Suge in the public eye, there’s been a behind-the-scenes rift between the two that was brought to light by 6ix9ine.  Since all attention is on Suge this week from his interview with Wallo and Gillie, 6ix9ine previously confirmed that Snoop is the reason why Suge is still behind bars.

In the interview with DJ Akademiks last summer, 6ix9ine claimed that Snoop was the reason Suge Knight is still in jail, on an alleged restraining order.  Even during the interview with Million Dollars Worth of Game, Suge still spoke good about his history with Snoop and didn’t get out of character in public with him.

Take a look at all of the information below.
