If you have a Spotify subscription, then you may have come across a promotion for their upcoming new audio plans. Well, the streaming service is planning to launch a lossless audio version, called Spotify Hi-Fi. Much like JAY Z’s Tidal service, Spotify will now offer a Hi-Fi service, featuring lossless CD-quality audio to users. However, last month, Tidal formally introduced their master audio quality streaming service, which is the closest thing to direct studio quality content.
Initially, users online tried to subscribe to the Hi-Fi service; but an error message appeared, saying it wasn’t available in their area. Spotify Hi-Fi is set to cost somewhere between $5-and-$10 more, than their $10 a month price for current premium. Look for the audio company to make an announcement for their Hi-Fi service in the coming weeks.
