In light of his role in The Office finally coming to end, Steve Carell and his wife will both be directing the pilot for upcoming comedy series, Tribeca. The plot is expected to follow the life of a vet named Angie Tribeca on L.A.P.D.’s Really Heinous Crimes Unit, and similar to many shows on television, the apparent variety of cast will be on air once a week on a half-hour slot. Having been involved in a number of films since the beginning of The Office, the directorial from Carell doesn’t come as a surprise in terms of what he’s already achieved in his career, which may even act a kick-starter by the way of working on other series. Even though a release date for the show hasn’t been announced just yet, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to in the near future.
