It has only been about a week since the hip hop world lost DMX to a heart attack but the posthumous music is coming. Thanks to season two of the EPIX series Godfather of Harlem, we now get the first after-death release from X, which finds him on a record with Swizz Beatz and French Montana. Much like season one, Swizz curated the soundtrack for season two, which should be no surprise as to why X is on a record.
This should be a preview of what X was working on for the new album.
If you’ve been bumping DMX music the past week or more because of his passing, throw this one in rotation and pour out some liquor for Dark Man. RIP X.
