The past few SWV joints we’ve heard this year were clearly on that grown woman music that not every shorty could relate to. We can’t knock the legendary R&B girl group for it, though. They’re at a different stage in life now than when they first burst into the scene. They’re bringing it a little closer to home on their “MCE (Man Crush Everyday)” single, using the social media phenomenon used on Mondays and channel it into wax. The record still carries that old ’90s vibe, but can connect with the new generation.
