It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen R&B-soul singers Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson release material, but the two have joined together to release a collaborative project. Here, we get their first offering with the reggae-influenced track “Feel The Fire” produced by Kemar McGregor.
The pair is preparing their first official collaborative full-length LP entitled “9INE” due out July 9th but might get bumped due to tour scheduling. The album title comes from the pair recording nine tracks in nine days, as they also share the same birth month in September (the 9th month of the year). Visuals for the record are already in the works which you can listen above and see if you’re feeling their first single.
