Talib Kweli is in good company for his latest release. His new song “Traveling Light,” premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats 1, finds him teaming up with not only Anderson .Paak on vocals, but Kaytranada handling the production too.
“He’s an old soul,” Talib says about about .Paak. “Anderson reminds me of when I first heard Cee-Lo Green. You know, when you first heard Cee-Lo Green, you think you’re listening to a 60-year old black man who’s weathered and wrinkled, like he’s lived some experiences.”
Talib previously worked with .Paak on “The Dreamer” from the Malibu album.
