Terrace Martin has been busy collaborating over the past few years, working on everything from Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly to YG’s Still Brazy to Travis Scott’s Rodeo. He also released his new solo album Velvet Portraits last year, which he’s returning to today to release a 10-minute short film. The story follows a man struggling with the pain of a past love, haunted by reminders.
“I wanted something to represent real life,” Terrace says about the visual. “I got with a great crew of writers & directors, Aplus Filmz, a great producer, Beny Ashburn, and some great new actors and dancers. After that art was made.”
