When it comes down to pushing their work, The Black Opera have always intended to put art as the absolute most important aspect. While plenty of other artists follow the acts of others around them, we’ve been pleased to see the group do their own thing and push the boundaries in their own element. Their latest single arrives in the form of “Koon Shit,” providing rhymes over a rework of an older track. Fans of Gang Starr will find themselves right at home with this one, as the crew taken on “You Know My Steez” from Guru and DJ Premier’s Moment Of Truth album. Expect the track to appear on their upcoming project 80zBabiezToDa2Gz, continuing to experiment their sound and create their own lane.
