We’ve been so caught up with The Bay Area’s rap scene (playing the hell out of “Up!,” listening to Too $hort like if Life Is…. Too $hort dropped last week, 49ers almost making it to the Superbowl), we forgot about the other side of the Bay. The indie side. The last time we actually heard something was The Morning Benders “Excuses” 2 years ago, but this new track by The Park reminds us of how much talent is out there, even in other genres.
“These Are The Days” is funky and carries that 2012/hippie/end of days/YOLO vibe. Perfect for when you need a break from rap. Not to mention, they’ve been a backing band for the likes of Big K.R.I.T., Freddie Gibbs and more. Cop their new EP here.
