Over the past week, we saw a number of milestones coming into fruition. These included the achievements of A$AP Rocky topping the Billboards charts with his debut album and Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools (Drank)” reaching the all important platinum status. If you’re a festival goer, there’s plenty to look forward to in terms of the exciting line-ups for Governors Ball, Paid Dues and Coachella.
On the music side of things, we heard plenty of new music from some of our favorite acts. Most importantly, MMG’s Rockie Fresh released his first mixtape as part of the collective, along with Casey Veggies proving his worth with his first project under management from Roc Nation. Elsewhere, content came from the likes of Reks, Ab-Soul, T.I., Alicia Keys, Kilo Kish and many more artists standing their ground as the first month of 2012 quickly comes to an end.
