The biggest story of the week this week, by far, had to be the Lakers hiring of Coach D’Antoni over Phil Jackson (aka the most winningnest coach in any sport, ever). The Lakers were in talk with several candidates, but in a 4th quarter bombshell, they decided to go with D’Antoni and pass on Phil Jackson, who has been reported to have asked for plenty of demands if he coached again. On behalf of Lakers fans: WE WANT PHIL!
On the music side, plenty of rap was also released, as we head into Thanksgiving week. Kanye West jumped on a Rihanna remix, Waka Flocka and Mac miller collaborated, J. Cole, Wale, The-Dream, Raekwon, Curren$y & Joe Budden all dropped new shit and Ke$ha got a TGOD remix with her single. Plenty of mixtape were released as well, from the likes of Iamsu!, Action Bronson & Alchemist, B.o.B and Chase N. Cashe, as well as streams for some dope projects from Roc Marciano and Travis Barker and Yelawolf.
