So there we have it. We hope you all enjoyed a well-deserved Christmas break, which also included some special seasonal releases from many of your favorite artists. It was the perfect time and quite frankly the last chance to get late singles and mixtapes out in the open before a fresh start in 2013. As our last round-up of the year, it’s fair to say that the week went out with a bang.
We were lucky to see huge project releases from the likes of Curren$y, Wale, Mike WiLL Made It, Troy Ave, Two9 and many more – some choosing to go towards the Christmas theme while the opportunity was opened up to them. The great music didn’t stop there, singles were gifted by important names such as Cocaine 80s, Mike Posner, King Chip and Gucci Mane to name a few. The recent New York hip-hop phenomenons Flatbush ZOMBiES and The Underachievers also stopped by to end the year respectively. In response to Cassidy’s hits and jabs, Meek Mill returned the words of hatred with “Repo”, causing an uproar in the community.
Lastly, we’d like to pay our respects to friends and family of Capital STEEZ from Pro Era, who sadly passed away on Christmas Eve.
