The Week OnSMASH [3.23.13]

With the events of SXSW quickly becoming distant memories, artists were ready to get back on their feet with a bunch of new releases. Quite notably, Top Dawg Entertainment were back in full force by releasing tracks from two of their leading artists. However it wasn’t just the male artists making the headlines, with some of the major female singers proving to be a force over the course of the week.

The majority of people should be pleased to hear new singles arrived from Jhené Aiko, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Snoop Lion, Rihanna, ScHoolboy Q, 50 Cent and the return of John Legend after his last album was released in 2008. The ability to stream Denitia And Sene’s exclusive album His And Hers was one of the highlights in terms of full project releases, and one that people should definitely not sleep on.

Keep up to date with everything over the past seven days with The Week OnSMASH.
