Over the past week, one of the main talking points was easily MTV’s annual Hottest MC’s In The Game 2013 list, continuing the much expected debates that arrive on a year by year basis. Whatever your opinion is on the final decision, there’s no doubt that each of the artists chosen had their fair share of limelight and important influence on the rest of the hip-hop culture. We also got a glimpse of Sway’s now famous first TV provided by Kanye West, which you can see in the picture above.
In terms of recent music, there was plenty of content from a bunch of the underground leaders to those who are on constantly on top of the game on a larger scale. Notably big name appearances came from Chris Brown, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Meek Mill, Lupe Fiasco, Flatbush Zombies, Diplo and many more. Full projects were released from the likes of Troy Ave, OJ Da Juiceman, Harry Fraud, Rickie Jacobs, Boldy James and The Doppelgangaz.
