When thinking back to some of the biggest stories of the last week, there’s usually plenty to reflect on as a whole. There’s no doubt that Kid Cudi’s decision to leave G.O.O.D. Music was an instant shock to almost everyone. The artist has been with Kanye West’s imprint for as long as many of us know, and it may be hard to picture him without the rest of the crew in the near future. Standing as one of Ye’s favorite artists, it’s bound to be a great loss to him, but we’re glad that Cudi is turning his attention to Wicked Awesome Records and taking time to indulge into King Chip’s career.
This week we saw impressive singles from the likes of Ab-Soul, Snoop Lion, Kid Cudi, Fall Out Boy, Troy Ave, Joey Bada$$, Ghostface Killah to name a few of the acts. We wasn’t short on projects either, with Kidz In The Hall, Casino, Sahtyre, Young Roddy making a name for themselves alongside Peter Rosenberg’s The New York Renaissance finally being released.
