This week saw the official release of Jay-Z‘s brand new and highly anticipated album Magna Carta Holy Grail, following the exclusive Samsung listening experience the week before. As well as this, Curren$y and Jet Life put together a rather surprising deal with BitTorrent in order to distribute an upcoming mixtape which is currently in the works.
In terms of new singles, we saw releases from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Capital STEEZ, Juicy J, Wale, J. Cole and many more, along with new projects from Mayer Hawthorne, Jay-Z and the very best of Rick Rubin, after his involvement with Yeezus and overseeing studio time with Hov.
