Black Atlass just released his new single “My Life” this week, but what’s more interesting is the fact that it was released on XO/Republic Records.
The Montreal singer and producer previously starred in The Weeknd’s video for “Secrets,” as well as some PUMA adverts, last year. Atlass also has a song called “Sacrifice,” featuring Jessie Reyez, on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, released through Republic this Friday. Based on this, it looks like he’s getting the proper push from the distribution label.
While the deal hasn’t officially been announced yet, it appears to be a done deal. Atlass will join the likes of Belly, Derek Wise, NAV, and of course, The Weeknd, on XO.
