The release of The Weeknd’s three substantial mixtapes back in 2011 was quite frankly a shock to everyone. You can easily say that you’ve never heard anything like his voice before. In the late stages of last year, Abel gifted us with the entire package as one, including a number of bonus tracks for good measure. It was only a matter of time before the compilation album Trilogy reached gold status, and rightfully so, that time is now. Congratulations to him and everyone affiliated with the movement.
