The xx took some time out of their schedule to speak to Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2, which resulted in a quick performance of two songs. The band treated us with “Angels” from their recent Coexist album, as well as their own cover version of Womack & Womack’s “Teardrops”, which was on the limited edition bonus disc of their debut self-titled album. As always, the three made the most of their fundamental sound as they slowed things down even further for their fans.
