Yesterday, Tory Lanez dropped the first major release of 2017, with his Chixtape 4 and The New Toronto 2 efforts. If you remember over the spring and summer, Lanez was readying his debut, I Told You, and publicly stated that he felt Drake saw him as competition.
While the Boy started last year off with throwing shots on his ‘Summer Sixteen” track, he would take Lanez saying, “All you boys doing fake Controlla wanna be me a little.”
Surprisingly, Tory kept quiet over the last few months and fourth quarter regarding the manner, publicly – but threw a few shots on his N.T.2. track, “Drive You Crazy.”
In the midst of flipping Drizzy’s “5 AM In Toronto” lines, he said, “Bout to make Forbes list, everything is gorgeous. I pray I never dress like ya’ll, only bird on my shirt is when I press that raw.”
Whether or not Drake is planning retaliation on his More Life album this winter remains to be seen, but let us know in the comments what you think about the lines.
