Troy Ave has been campaigning the release of his new album Dope Boy Troy for weeks now. Without further adieu, the Brooklyn rapper is here to drop off his anticipated project. Dope Boy Troy features a total of nine new songs from Troy Ave with production coming from the usual suspects. Those being the likes of Yankee, Rubi Rosa, Trilogy, and more. The new album wasn’t set to release until tomorrow, but the B$B rapper shares it a day early.
A couple of standouts on the project are “Never Switch” where Ave calls out his former manager Hovain, whose face was crossed out on the single artwork. And “Amazing Grace” that hears the rapper speaking on the incident that happened on Christmas day in which he was shot twice while on his way to his mother’s house.
