Last May, the year for Troy Ave reached an immediate halt after he was shot by an unknown fireman. While footage was captured on tape, which resulted in Ave’s best friend losing his life, Manhattan Criminal Courts felt they needed to hold the Brooklyn rapper in jail for two months.
Luckily, his team kept his movement in motions, as listeners were granted the street-certified cut, “Chuck Norris,” seen on his Free Troy Ave mixtape. Well, after finally being released from custody on a half million-dollar bail, Roland Collins is back on the streets to release his new self-titled album.
