Just last night, Wale became the first rap artist in history to open for President Obama for his final State of the Union address, and today he’s making news announcing the title of his upcoming fifth studio album. Just a few short hours after dropping his new “Powerball Freestyle,” the DC native shares the title of his next album, Shine. The news of the upcoming project follows Wale’s recent slew of new music, specifically, the three new songs in which he dropped in succession back in October, that are believed to be the first taste of his new effort. Shine is the follow-up to his 2015 released The Album About Nothing, which became his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts.
