Years before Kanye West‘s Late Registration single “Gold Digger” became a chart-topping success and featured Jamie Foxx. It was originally a much slower tune and featured G.O.O.D. Music’s John Legend, who sang a totally different chorus on the track that Kanye says was titled “18 Years”. Thanks to the Dynamic Producer Archives for digging up a rare and unseen performance of the two performing the track at the 2nd Annual Dynamic Producer Conference in NYC in 2003, just before his highly successful debut album College Dropout set to arrive.
