This past Saturday, DJ Premier and RZA took to Instagram Live to battle, in what was considered one of the greatest in decades.
With DJ Premier on the 1’s an 2’s, the two kicked off the battle speaking on his they met each other back in the early ’90s. After running down some hip hop history, the two sides began playing classics and it was lit after that.
RZA broke out songs from Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie, Kanye West, ‘Ol Dirty Bastard, and more, while Primo played cuts by JAY Z, D’Angelo, Royce Da 5’9 and more.
