Watch “Nas: Live from the Kennedy Center” Documentary Trailer

It has been over 20 years since Nas released his debut classic Illmatic and he’s done various things to celebrate the project in honor of it. This one might be the biggest.

Esco has teamed up with the National Symphony Orchestra to perform the classic in Washington D.C. at the Kennedy Center, giving fans some Classical Hip-Hop. Nas Live From the Kennedy Center will air on PBS on February 2.

As you can see from the trailer, Nas takes fans inside his journey, from the start of his career until now (old footage of him on the come up is also shown throughout the clip). Plus, you get a preview of his concert at the venue, as the orchestra backs him while he rocks “The World Is Yours” live.

Great Performances — Nas Live From the Kennedy Center: Classical Hip-Hop is directed by Jason Goldwatch and executive produced by Nas, Anthony Saleh and Peter Bittenbender.
