Those who anticipate a range of experimental efforts can definitely be excited for new sounds from Whistle Peak. The Louisville collective release a brand new single titled “Longrun,” allowing listeners to have a quick insight into what they’re setting out to do in terms of direction as a whole. The track somewhat follows the lines of a minimalistic background and is clearly driven by samples and random instruments. It may come as a surprise to find out that much of the content on their upcoming project has been in the works for the past 10 years, but it wasn’t until now that it felt right to release the goods. Look out for the album Put To Flight to be released on April 2nd.
