Throughout the course of his career, XXXTentacion was embroiled in a number of incidents with the law, until his tragic death this past June in Florida.
In a new, secretly recorded conversation that has leaked by way of the Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office, some of the charges that were brought against him in 2016 have been confirmed by the rapper himself (both sides in the case admitted this tape to be a confession). On the tape (which can be heard HERE), XXX admits to domestic abuse towards his girlfriend, saying that he “fucked her up” and left her scared thinking he would kill her.
“I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started fucking her up bruh. I started fucking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand.”
He also reveals he was involved in eight stabbings, as well as a number of other crimes and the stabbing of a former manager.
In October 2016, XXXTentacion was arrested in Miami-Dade on aggravated battery of his pregnant girlfriend, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering. The stabbing incident references a January 2016 assault that happened in Deerfield Beach that left three people wounded. Though nobody was charged for the crime, it’s crazy that he would admit to more than double the victims that were reported.
