This week, XXXTentacion said he was pulling out of his $6 million dollar Capitol Records music deal, terminating the contract and writing: “I am not a signed artist, and I will not be releasing music for a very long time, I’m tired of this shit.”
Reports have surfaced saying he is still signed with the label and nothing has been terminated, but things are still rocky for him.
Now he’s claiming he will not be releasing any music for a while and feels mentally abused for helping people and he’s tired of the hate.
Of course, he’s been in the middle of a domestic violence case, which has brought charges of aggravated battery, domestic battery and witness tampering. The trial is set to begin December in Florida.
We’ll see if he really stays quiet, musically, after signing the deal.
