Yelawolf Announces He’s Leaving Shady Records

Yelawolf has announced that he’ll be leaving Shady Records following the release of his next album. The Alabama rapper revealed the news at a show in Colorado over the weekend, which will bring his seven-year stay on Eminem’s label to an end.

“‘Trunk Muzik 3′ is my last album on Shady Records,” Yela said on stage. “Five fuckin’ albums on Shady Records — I feel blessed for that. Make some noise for Marshall Mathers.”

Check out the clip below, which also shows Yela performing his Eminem collaboration, “Best Friend.”
