Young Dolph Explains His Come Up, Childhood and 100 Shots in Charlotte

Through his Bulletproof album, we’ve heard Young Dolph tell his side of the story in the “100 Shots” incident in Charlotte. In this Open Space talk with Mass Appeal, he dives into that subject and what happened and also talks about growing up in Memphis and Chicago.

As Dolph puts it, he always thoughts his parents didn’t care about him, so when his grandma took him to her crib, he didn’t understand why his parents were acting how they were. It wasn’t until he grew older and saw the street shit and how cocaine ruined lives that he began to see life through their eyes and understand why they weren’t there.

He also talked about his infamous car crash and how he felt when he started getting success.
