2014 NBA Playoffs 2nd Round Preview

Win or Go HOME! 2nd Round NBA action begins tonight with Pacers vs. Wizards at 7pm | Thunder vs. Clippers at 9:30pm

Welcome to the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs. For two complete weeks, we’ve witnessed some of the best action for post-season play in quite a long time. Although the more successful franchises are out of the playoffs this year (Knicks, Lakers and Celtics), the level of competition has been intense, with no clear cut winners the general consensus can all agree on.

The biggest stories heading into the next round of the playoffs are the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder series, we expect to go the distance; but also whether the Indiana Pacers will keep playing mediocre basketball against a hungry John Wall and Washington Wizards squad. Although the 1st round just ended last night, the serious action begins tonight with a double-header on TNT featuring those two series we just mentioned above.

After the jump below, you can view a full breakdown of each series and who we’re predicting to advance to the conference finals based on match-ups and current play for round dos.
