The 2016-2017 NBA Playoff Picture & Game Schedule

There were some heartbreaks as the playoff picture was coming together. Most notably, out on Florida, where the Miami Heat just missed the playoffs thanks to losing a tiebreaker with the Chicago Bulls for that eighth and final playoff spot. Both teams finished 41-41 for the season. How much damage can Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade do against Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Celtics, though?

The Denver Nuggets also could not secure a trip to the big dance, finishing one game back of the Portland Trail Blazers, who will face the Golden State Warriors in the first round.

One of the best matchups that will take place is undoubtedly the third seeded Houston Rockets taking on the sixth seeded Oklahoma City Thunder, which will see two of the leaders in the MVP race go toe-to-toe for bragging rights and possibly the crown for the trophy.

And who could forget that Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz matchup, that might see the other LA team potentially bounced out of the playoffs for another year. Don’t sleep on the Jazz. They might put the nail in the coffin for the Doc Rivers era in the City of Angels.
