76ers No Longer Have Markelle Fultz In Long Term Plans

It seems like every other week, some news is trickling out from the Markelle Fultz camp and this week is no different. According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the No. 1 pick is no longer in the Philadelphia 76ers long term plans and multiple sources say they’re considering trading him away from the team.

The news follows reports last week that he would be seeing a shoulder specialist, aside from dealing with a right wrist injury.

Reports have also said that Fultz is looking to start fresh somewhere else, after all of the drama that has transpired in Philly.

Of course, his stock is at an all-time low, so it’ll be interesting to see if the Sixers even get value in the form of a first round pick for him in return. It would probably benefit him to go to a rebuilding project with less pressure and limelight than his current squad and much more playing time.

It’s crazy to think of how much he hasn’t lived to expectations out of college, especially for how highly-regarded he was at Washington.
