Anthony Davis Hits Amazing Buzzer Beater Against OKC Thunder

From 30 feet out!

We all know Anthony Davis can’t stay away from the highlight reels with his ferocious dunks and ridiculous alley-oops throughout the course of a game. But when was the last time you saw him hit a buzzer beater that was a three, from WAY downtown?

That’s what happened Friday night in Oklahoma City with 1.2 second left in the game.

With the game tied at 113, the New Orleans Pelicans had one in-bounds play to try to win the game. After a couple screens, Davis freed himself at the top of the key from about 30 feet out, caught the ball, turned and shot it in between defenders (one of which was Kevin Durant, who had a hand in his face). He’s no Steph Curry with the lethal long-range pot, but that shot hit the bottom of the net like if he was. Pure stroke.

AD23 ended the game with a monster 41 points and 10 rebounds, quieting Russell Westbrook‘s 48 points and 11 assists effort on the night.

FINAL: NO 116 | OKC 113
