A.B. becomes a Pixburgh Steeler 4 Life!

After coming just one game shy of returning to the Super Bowl last January, the Pittsburgh Steelers have finally caved in to pay their star receiver, Antonio Brown. The team announced earlier today, that Brown now becomes the highest-paid wide-out of all-time, inking a 4-year extension – reportedly upwards of $68 million. This comes just days before the league begins their long-awaited free agency period, as teams prepare for April’s NFL Draft, coincidentally in Pittsburgh.

Over the last four seasons, Brown has garnered 481 receptions, which has been the most in a four-year span in league history. It’s obvious that the team would never let Antonio ever leave, as this should be incentive for Ben Roethlisberger to re-consider his alleged plans for retirement. With fellow friends James Harrison and Le’Veon Bell also planning to ink new deals at the start of free agency, Pittsburgh is playing in win-now mode for their star quarterback, Big Ben.
