Arian Foster Is Retiring From the NFL

After being plagued by injuries the past few seasons and switching teams, Arian Foster has decided to call it a career in the NFL and has decided to retire mid-season.

The Pro-Bowl running back announced his decision after eight seasons in the league.

Foster ends his career with in the NFL with 6,527 rushing yards and 54 touchdowns, officially being the franchise leader in rushing yards for the Houston Texans.

AF has been nursing groin and hamstring injuries since Week 2 of the season and didn’t look the same when he came back in Week 6. Not to mention the fact that Jay Ajayi rushed for 200 yards on back to back seasons, practically overtaking the No. 1 role in the Miami Dolphins backfield.

It’s unfortunate how this tale ends, but Arian is walking away from the game in peace.
