Carson Wentz Evades Blitz and Throws 58-Yard Touchdown

Carson Wentz is a sleeper quarterback heading into the season and one to really watch out for after his breakout rookie campaign for the Philadelphia Eagles. It seems like the Eagles have more weapons this year to help Wentz and they’re certainly trying to make a push for that NFC East title.

Eagles fans were pleased to see their QB score the first touchdown of the season in such magnificent fashion today against the Washington Redskins. Under heavy pressure by the defensive line, Wentz evaded the pressure and managed to throw a bomb to Nelson Agholor, who scored the 58-yard touchdown easily.

Through three quarters, CW is 18/28 for 228 yards over the air and 2 touchdowns.
