Get Used to These Chris Paul to Carmelo Anthony Plays from Rockets

There’s no denying the fact that the Houston Rockets upgraded on offense this season when they acquired Carmelo Anthony this summer.

It’s the defense that’s compromised.

Either way, with Chris Paul dishing out passes and James Harden taking shots or passing the ball around, we’re going to see plenty of flashy offense from H-Town this upcoming year. If you don’t believe us, look no further than Melo’s first points in the Rockets uniform tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.

From all the way on the other side of the court, CP3 put one defender in a spin cycle, got past the next defender by going baseline and then fed Anthony in the corner by tossing the nutmeg under the rotating defense in the key.

Then Carmelo sank the 3-pointer.

That wasn’t it, though. He also hit a long 2-pointer in the third and apologized to Coach Mike D’Antoni for it, even though he drained it.
