Cleveland Cavaliers Receive NBA Championship Rings on Opening Night

CLEVELAND VS. THE WORLD

Opening night kicked off with the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks facing off, but before the action on the court, every member of the Cavs received some prized jewelry. The NBA Championship rings were handed out and the first ever banner went up at Quicken Loans Arena. LeBron James also had some words for the crowd in attendance and to all the haters.

Even Dan Gilbert talked his shit on the mic during the ceremony, saying the team had one thing left to do after hanging up the championship banner: repeat.

There are 81 games left and 31 teams standing in the way. We’ll find out in June.
