Watch CM Punk’s interview with FOX sports 1

Last weekend, former professional wrestler CM Punk showed the sports world, announcing his official multi-fight deal with UFC. While World Wrestling Entertainment has remained quiet since the big announcement, UFC sponsor-network Fox Sports One invited the Chicago fighter for his first televised interview under the brand. During the conversation on Fox Sports Live with Jay Onrait, CM opened up on his chances in the octagon, saying there’s a big chance he’ll fail, but hops to gain respect from all fellow fighters and fans of the MMA world.

He admitted his strength is in the ground game for submission tactics and acknowledged striking as his biggest weakness presently. Although he still doesn’t have a camp and gym picked out at the moment, the 36-year-old Punk details his plans and proper training before an official debut in UFC next year.
