Gimme my second belt motherfuckers!

Last night, UFC held their first ever hosted event in New York City. The headlining bout of the UFC 205 card was a Lightweight Championship bout between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez. Following back-to-back fights with Nate Diaz at Welterweight last spring and summer, McGregor wanted to make history – becoming the first ever simultaneous two-weight UFC champion.

Throughout the main event, Conor pretty much dominated Alvarez (who stood no chance at all) and capped off things mid-way in the second round. When his opponent couldn’t take any more damage, the referee ended the fight when Eddie was defenseless and taking numerous hits.

Take a look at highlights from the fight above and his hilarious after-fight interview, dubbing himself the new double champ: UFC Featherweight Champion and UFC Lightweight Champion.
