Dalvin Cook Is Out For the Season with ACL Tear

A solid start to the season for the Minnesota Vikings, rookie Dalvin Cook has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. He will be having surgery on the ACL and will be expected back next season for the team.

The injury happened in the third quarter of the Vikes’ game against the Detroit Lions, after he ran up the middle and fell to the ground after a cut. In the replay, you can tell his knee buckled immediately after and he grabbed it, fumbling the ball afterwards.

After four games, Cook will finish with 354 yards and two touchdowns for the season.
