The Portland Trail Blazers exceeded expectations last season, reaching the Western Conference Finals, but they were swept out by the Golden State Warriors.
With the new season around the corner, Damian Lillard spoke to ESPN to touch on a number of subjects. In their sit down, Dame spoke on what the team learned in the postseason last year, how Hassan Whiteside will help the squad moving forward, how he’s switched up his game with the long-range 3-pointers and what the expectations are for next season.
He also talked about eliminating the Oklahoma City Thunder and what it felt like, but according to Lillard, he didn’t get to enjoy the moment much (and let is soak in) without being asked about it every five seconds.
Damian also spoke on the beef on wax with SHAQ and where it originate, saying O’neal got offended with his comments on The Joe Budden Podcast.
