Arguably one of the best player in the country (some would even say he’s the best in the nation), Arizona freshman Deandre Ayton has made his decision and he will be another one-and-done who will be entering his name into the NBA Draft.
Many mock drafts are already putting him as the No. 1 pick in June’s draft.
Although the Wildcats did not make it far in the NCAA Tournament, Ayton was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year, averaging a monster 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
I’m just a kid from the Bahamas who came to the States when I was 12 years old with a dream. I can’t say anything about this journey other than that it’s God’s Plan 🙏🏾 Next Stop: 2018 NBA Draft #BullySeason #242toTheWorld pic.twitter.com/6f9igjMrU8

He is being described as the prototypical big-man in today’s league, having the size of a center (he’s 7’1″), but mobility and athleticism of a guard. He can pass when locked down and can hit a good jumper as well.
Will he be a franchise player and dominant force in the league for years to come? That remains to be seen, but all signs are pointing to that.
