Dion Waiters Sinks Game Winning 3-Pointer Against Warriors

The Miami Heat are officially in rebuild mode after Dwyane Wade left South Beach and Chris Bosh was shut down indefinitely with blood clots. Besides the Brooklyn Nets, there is no team worse off in the Eastern Conference. They literally have the second worst record. The young core is not supposed to win games against the Golden State Warriors right now.

But they did. At home live from American Airlines Arena too.

From out of the blue, Dion Waiters came up the clutch hero from downtown because he hit the game-winner against Dub Nation. The boy calmly walked up the court after Kevin Durant scored the tying basket 11.7 seconds left. He told everyone to back off once he crossed half court because he was keeping the rock to himself. Klay Thompson was on him. He dribbled it between his legs and took the shot. There was a hand in his face. Money.

His sixth triple of the night was very Curry-esque.

Waiters finished the game with 33 points and 4 assists to lead all Heat scorers on the night. Goran Dragic also cooked a solid 19 points as well.

The Splash Brothers and Durant all had over 20 points for the starters but neither Draymond Green or Zaza Pachulia could get into the double digits in scoring for the game.

FINAL: MIA 105 | GS 102
