The Philadelphia Eagles have Super Bowl aspirations and they have taken one step closer to those goals today, after trading for one of the best up and coming running backs in the NFL right now. Holding the best record in the NFL, the birds just got stronger, acquiring Jay Ajayi from the Miami Dolphins for a 4th round draft pick.
The Eagles have been needing some help in the running back position for some time, even though they rank number four in the league in rushing yards. In seven games for the Dolphins this season, Ajayi has rushed 138 times for 465 yards.
This should add some more help for Carson Wentz, who has played like an MVP candidate for the year and is looking every bit worth that second pick in the draft.
The only thing that Philadelphia needs help with now is their offensive line, which has suffered some injuries this season.
