Donald Trump has always been a fan of sports, hence the picture above of him enjoying WrestleMania 23, but it appears now he wants to that that love to the next level. In a statement released, Trump said “I’m going to give it my best shot,” when he was asked about the prospect of buying the Buffalo Bills. Trump said that he is very interested in the prospect of owning the Bills, and reassured fans that he was not looking to move the team. So far the rumored destinations of cities the Bills to be moved to were Los Angeles and Toronto. Toronto would actually make the most since, as it would be an easy transition, and would also serve as the first Canadian NFL team.
If you recall, back in the 80’s Trump owned an USFL team, and was one of the major reasons why the league was successful. Because of that and other factors, if Trump were to make a bid for the Bills, it seems like other NFL owners would be ok with it. We will continue to update this story as it progresses.
